I’m a qualified Career Coach ready to help you progress in your career.
I’ll help you plan your next move, get your CV and LinkedIn ready, and help you improve your interview techniques so that you find and secure the role you are looking for.
I will also help you with your interviews. One of my key coaching areas is interview coaching, which delivers great results in a short space of time and can make a world of difference.
I’ve been a Career Coach for over 5 years. Prior to this I had a wide-ranging career in business management and coached multiple teams to develop their careers.
My broad career background has provided me with valuable knowledge of multiple sectors and industries which is a huge benefit when supporting my clients.
The 4 Steps to Success
Strategy & Planning: Having a strategy and plan to secure your next role is vital. Without this you can find yourself getting stressed, frustrated and losing confidence which can lead to poor decision-making. I’ll help you make an effective plan and set a strategy to achieve it.
CV & LinkedIn: Your CV needs to promote your skills, strengths, experience and achievements. Your LinkedIn profile should be aligned with your CV and help a company or recruiter find out more about you. I offer an expert-level CV & LinkedIn writing service or will coach you to write your own.
Interview Preparation: Confidence in interviews comes from being well prepared. Too often, we prepare for an interview when we get the interview but this is often too late. Through interview coaching, I can help you prepare and practice how you are going to talk about yourself, your career, your strengths, your weaknesses and your achievements.
Managing Your Job Search: It’s important to know how to build and use a LinkedIn network to support a successful job search. Not all jobs are advertised and networking is a key part of job searching. It’s also important to manage job seeking effectively to avoid job-search burnout.
Interviews
These are some common areas that we often fall down on in interviews. If you recognise any of these, Interview Coaching will help you improve your performance and confidence:
- Rambling and losing focus in your answer
- Not confidently selling your strengths and skills
- Not providing suitable examples that show how your skills and experience match the role
- Not taking credit for your own achievements
Successfully handling interviews is a skill in itself and it’s a fact that we get better at interviews the more we practice. With Interview Coaching, I will help you become fully prepared and confident to face any interview.
